WLAN Solutions Supporting High-
Performance Applications Such as
Voice over WLAN
Summit WM series switches support
voice-grade Layer 3 roaming across APs,
with pre-authentication to preserve
security and IP persistence to minimize
dropped connections. Not only is this
roaming available across subnets, but also
across APs that are operating off of
different Summit WM switches. This is
ideal for voice handsets or roaming
applications such as a wireless device
mounted on a warehouse forklift.
